- The purpose of this thesis is to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the integration of the theology and psychology involved in helping a family in crisis. Theories considered while working with this family in crisis include an integration of cognitive-behavioral therapy, attachment theory, and an integration of biblical principles. Biblical concepts included are: creation of man, the fall, redemption, how sin affects mankind. Scripture is referenced in marriage, divorce, remarriage, sexual sin, the family, and healing. Also included is an overview of the family life cycle.
