Abstract

The thesis of this project is that adult lay persons who hold administrative leadership positions in the local church can, through an experiential self-directing, informal learning experience, gain new insight into the nature of church leadership and new confidence in themselves as church leaders. The methodology involved setting up the kind of learning atmosphere that would allow the adults to utilize each other as the primary resources for learning. Both quantity and quality of learning were measured by an evaluation tool which found learner satisfaction about the material learned and the method of learning very high.
