Abstract
  • This dissertation examines some church growth factors and how they impacted 324 comeback churches by explaining the need for many North American churches to make a comeback, discussing the background of church revitalization, and reviewing some key aspects and themes of the CGM including vibrant faith, evangelism, leadership, lay ministry, small groups, and worship. The research process is described, basic findings are presented from the survey, individual components of the comeback process are analyzed, and conclusions are outlined about the overall process and key obstacles of church revitalization with suggestions for improving the current state of the North American Church.
