- The purpose of this project was to promote patterns of congregational health in the churches of Trinity Baptist Association by coaching a select group of local Southern Baptist pastors and church leaders using concepts of family systems theory. Congregational health demonstrated by longer tenures of church leaders and conflict with less intensity and better resolution has occurred as leaders understand and apply systems thinking, recognize the problems and issues in systems, and remain differentiated in difficult situations. The project accomplished these goals. It taught concepts of family systems theory and gave practice in promoting better congregational health.
