Abstract
  • The following professional paper is the story of my journey towards developing a model of ministry that I could use in the local church setting. It begins with experiencing ministry through idealistic eyes, becoming angry and hurt, and then finding hope again to serve the people of God. It is a story of how a new self-perception, struggles of faith, and a new way of doing ministry changed this fifteen-year minister towards a model of ministry based on spiritual awareness, discernment, acceptance, and a deeper relationship with God and others in need of care.
