This project presents a ten-point strategy for revival in Rockford, Illinois. Revival is defined and the need for it is considered from current literature and information gathered from a survey of 343 pastors in the city. revival in the Scripture is studied, concluding that the context and content of 2 Chr 7:14 is its core. ten characteristics of biblical revival are identified and traced through the Scripture and five counterparts in history. A theology of revival completes the study suggesting a divine partnership between the responsibility of God's people and his sovereign will and purposes.
