Abstract
  • The objective of this study is to test the impact of elder's qualifications on church growth measured by increased membership and Sunday attendees. The study categorizes the leadership attributes listed in 1 Timothy 3:2, 2 Timothy 2:24 and Titus 1:6-7 into six dimensions to measure the quality of ruling elders. Data collected from 92 pastors via questionnaire, was analyzed to test the validity of the study using SPSS Procedure Factor Analysis and Reliability. The result confirmed the author's belief that elder's qualities have significant impact on church growth; thus supporting the practice of careful selection and training based on Scripture mentioned.
