Abstract
  • This project convenes a group of writers to reflect on various biblical narratives and the balance between cognitive and imaginative functions in biblical interpretation. The group process supports and enriches the creative process through discussion, and issues in biography and fiction produced by members of the group. Theories of Paul Ricoeur and other narrative critics of Scripture provide the dynamics of this writers' group experiment.
