Abstract
  • This study uses the Brief Symptom Inventory (BST) as an outcome measurement tool to extend current research conclusions regarding the PACE method of lay pastoral care, created by Melvin J. Steinbron, Lay Pastors Ministry. The outcome study shows that lay ministers using the PACE method can have a demonstrable positive impact on the people to whom they minister.
