Abstract
  • This project proposes and prepares a manual for intentional spiritual formation to be used by individuals and teams ministering together, testing it in the Episcopal Diocese of North Dakota. On the premise that serious adherence to baptismal vows requires intentional, ongoing spiritual formation, the manual begins with baptismal vows and proceeds to prayer in the New Testament, personal rule of life, community/group spiritual formation, and contemporary issues. A bibliography includes more than 50 classical, contemporary, scholarly, and devotional works.
