Abstract

This project employs pastoral supervision in a two-semester formation course to integrate leadership development in the New York off-site theological education program of United Theological Seminary (Dayton, Ohio). In 16 class sessions and two retreats the course offers theological reflection, peer supervision, ministry reflection reports, and supervisory conversations to help students to examine and improve their leadership abilities and practices.
