- Abstract
- The purpose of the project was to develop an intercessory prayer program for Southside Baptist Church. The objective was accomplished by researching the biblical basis and the best methods of intercessory prayer. That research was condensed into a series preached to the congregation and another series taught to an experimental class. A significant increase in the practice of intercessory prayer was noted in both the congregation and the class. However, an increase in the knowledge of intercessory prayer was significant only in the class.
