- The project's purpose is to increase the participation of Grace Baptist Church members through spiritual gifts. The research question is: 'What is a better method to help members discover and use their spiritual gifts to increase participation in ministry?' This project includes: 1) a four-week course on the nature and purpose of spiritual gifts; 2) a Christ-centered spiritual gift inventory; 3) an interest inventory; 4) a spiritual gift development program. The major findings of this project are that: 1) many spiritual gift inventories lack face validity; 2) the spiritual gifts course demonstrated practical significance in the project goals.
