Abstrakt

This dissertation is to figure out Chinese pastors' compensation in USA through a survey. The purpose is to create a method to determine the pastors' compensations based on the biblical teachings. The methods used are as follows: 1. Exploring the facts, the causes and the problems of the low compensation of Chinese pastors. 2. Studying different aspects of the criteria in determining pastors' compensations. 3. Studying the biblical passages with respect to the materialistic provisions to God's servants. 4. Conducting a survey among Chinese pastors who are pastoring Chinese churches in the United States. 5. Comparing the pastors' compensations between Chinese churches and American churches.
