Abstract
  • This project defines prayer, reflects on its theology, and analyzes its practical applications. A questionnaire enabled members of a congregation to discuss views of prayer and reasons why prayer is imnportant. The project examines obstacles to effective prayer life, prayer in non-Christian religions, ideas to help pastors with prayer, prayer in mission and evangelism, and ideas to increase a congregation's interest in prayer.
