This thesis is a congregational self assessment and planning program designed for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Oklahoma. It is a design which facilitates planning from the strengths of the church, utilizing the church's theology, traditions, and hopes for the future. It also incorporates Lyle E Schaller's concept of 'potentialities-based planning'. The report consists of a summary of the development of the project, its design, its hermeneutics, and the theology implicit in the program, particularly the theology of hope by Juergen Moltmann.
