The purpose of this project was to prepare a group of selected couples to deal effectively with midlife changes. The historical and descriptive survey methods of research were used to determine the developmental changes of midlife and the prevalent needs of adults experiencing those changes. Six couples participated in an eight-week training program at First Baptist Church, Clarksville, Tennessee. At the conclusion of the training, the results were tested by statistical standards and other methods. The training program helped prepare midlife couples to deal effectively with midlife changes.
