Abstract
  • Many people struggle with a condition known as codependency, which affects their relationships, general functioning, and spiritual lives. This project promotes recovery through church awareness, growth/support groups, and a cognitive/behavioral interactive workbook. Almost 50 percent of the project group members experienced varying degrees of improvement of codependent symptoms. This result was confirmed by inventories, an evaluation form, interviews with the Project Director and a consultant, and the consultant's evaluation of all the data. The project was beneficial to those who worked hard at the recovery process.
