Abstract
  • This project focuses on the variety of feminist spiritualities many lesbian women experience and practice. The inferior role of women in our history and culture plays into the research of this thesis. The scope of study includes research into relevant biblical, theological, spiritual and psychological information which pertains to homosexuality with a particular concentration on lesbian sexuality and spirituality. A questionnaire and study guide developed from a Women's Spiritualilty group provides a feminist model for ministry. Through their dialogue these heterosexual, bisexual, and lesbian women from within and without mainline religions create ritual and new spiritual traditions.
