Abstract
  • The decline of mainline Protestantism in the twentieth century may be likened to a great river that enters that delta region known as 'postmodernity.' However, many individual congregations show every sign of being vital congregations. This project establishes the feasibility of using Internet tools to connect Wesley Theological Seminary to these congregations. The author establishes precedence for the project by analyzing the history of seminaries and the conversation within theological education about its future. He grounds the project in the context of the seminary's strategic plan. The feasibility is shown by the support and interest of Wesley Theological Seminary's key constituents.
