Abstract
  • Within the last twenty-eight years, there were one million immigrants from Korea into the United States. Among them is the church which has played a central role in the settlement of Korean immigrants in the United States. Currently, there are over 2,000 Korean-American churches in the United States. Unfortunately, this rapid growth in the number of Korean-American churches does not go hand in hand with the expected level of maturity in church life. Especially, active involvement of church members is not consistent from church to church. This study takes an approach that development of active involvement of church members is one of the most important tasks of the ministry of pastors. This study, therefore, examines different aspects and possibilities of increasing the active involvement of members through midnight prayer meetings.
