Abstrakt

The Korean church has grown rapidly in terms of membership, but it faces the problems of religious syncretism and internal conflicts. A critique of the Korean church is made in light of the church growth principles articulated by Orlanda Costas. It is argued that the Korean church must grow by a process of contextualization in which the over-indigenized faith of the Korean Christians must become deindigenized.
