- Abstract
- This thesis includes anecdotal research into the social, legal, religious, and personal implications of abortion as it impacts on males. Eighteen male volunteers of diverse national and personal backgrounds were surveyed and a number of others referred to concerning the long-term effects of their own abortion experience, most of which were negative. The author argues against elective abortion as public policy and personal choice on religious, medical, and social grounds. The foundation is laid for the development of an approach to biblical counseling of post-abortion males and for the training of counselors. A detailed questionnaire and useful resources are appended.
