How does a small suburban middle class Protestant congregation provide pastoral care to a yoga training institute located within its parish boundaries? to do this, it was decided that a study of the human dilemma (sin) and its resolution (salvation) as contained in the belief systems of Christanity and Yoga ought to be attempted. A study of the literature revealed that this had not been done to date. The conclusion was that a wide chasm separates the two systems. It is pointed out that further dialogue between Christianity and other religions may bridge this gap. Helpful features common to both belief systems are explored. The results of the study as shared with those students still living within the area are given.
