Abstract

This project seeks to draw a connection between postmodern culture and the spirituality of students born between 1965 and 1981. The researcher asserts that GenXers relate to organized religion much differrently than previous generations shaped by modernity. The project began with an extensive review of literature. A 31 item questionnaire was administered to 32 students in the College of Education. Student responses were either slightly above or below the median response for each question. No statistically significant correlation was found to suggest the proposed hypothesis. These findings do not substantiate the need for a postmodern reformation in campus ministry.
