Abstract
  • This project proposes a new harmony of the four gospels in which chronological placement of every passage is carefully rethought. Substantive reasons for these placements and significant similarities to words and events occurring elsewhere in the gospels are consistently annotated. A 26-page outline clearly describes the content and chronology of the gospels in a way that is natural to the text. The project presents a detailed and academically supportable challenge to the general chronological pattern followed by previous harmonies and strongly suggests that the public ministry of Jesus lasted only two-and-a-half years.
