It is certain that John Wesley's convictions, struggles, reflections, and preaching for holiness were expressed and retained in his sermons, whether they were published or not. 'To spread the scriptural holiness over the land' is the message that characterizes a distinct and ultimate goal in his ministry and mission. My goal in this dissertation is to explore how sincerely and eagerly John Wesley pursued the holiness of heart and life, throughout his life journey. My research will show how the theme of holiness was sincerely and continually sought and preached in his sermons.
