Abstrakt

The purpose of this project was to equip a selected group of believers of Southway Baptist Church, Brookhaven, Mississippi to write a daily devotional. The project director researched the field of daily devotionals examining devotional content, writing guidelines. and interviewing experts in the field of daily devotionals for essential components of effectively written daily devotionals. Then the project director compiled the principles of effectively written devotionals into a workshop format. The workshop was presented to the Sunday school teachers of Southway Baptist Church to begin writing his or her daily devotional.
