Abstract
  • This project attempted to enhance the growing awareness of ministry with the elderly within a local church. It used the understanding of older adults in a support group. With the Council on Ministries, they identified a specific need and designed a tool of ministry -- a congregational interest inventory survey -- which was presented at a worship service led by older adults. This project weighed the results upon the support group, the Council on Ministries and the pastoral leadership, and presented a ministry model for older adults affirming their responsible leadership to other churches and communities.
