  • How might congregations in times of transition engage in a process of visioning and spiritual discernment that would enhance their understanding of congregational identity and particular calling? This thesis will propose a method that uses the U.S. Congregational Life Survey and a leader's guide (Connecting: a leader's guide) for interpreting and discussing the results of the survey. Congregants interacting with the Survey results become involved in an educaitonal model that encourages insight into their congregation's vision in terms of community, family, and participation in God's household.
