Abstract

The project raised the awareness of two United Methodist churches of the needs in their area which are a result of pollution from nearby industiral waste products. The method involved research into the biblical, theological, and historical bases for this concern; to form a project committee from the churches and community to work on this problem; and finally to evaluate the project and its contribution to ministry. The churches and community are more aware than before of the ecological needs around them.
