Abstract
  • This project develops and tests the use of a video evaluation instrument for application by UTS faculty with Masters level student video projects. The instrument was designed and field-tested with five UTS instructors during the 1999 spring and fall semesters, involving six student video projects. Results of the model were examined via personal interviews. This revealed 1) such an instrument is needed and desired, 2) prior orientation to the instrument increases its effectiveness, 3) a flexible format for application of the instrument increases and 4) further refinement of the instrument is necessary for most effective applicability.
