Abstract
  • The research project is designed to ascertain the inhibitors and initiators of new growth for plateaued churches. Chapter one establishes the relevance of the project and the biblical foundation for the project. Chapter two reviews the perspectives of church growth, church health and church leadership on moving the plateaued church to experience breakout growth. In chapter three the inhibitors and initiators of new growth are identified in a multiple-case study. Chapter four assesses the multiple-case study. The conclusion confirms the critical inhibitors and the essential initiators of new growth in a plateaued church.
