Abstract
  • This project attempts to actively recruit members of Northway Christian Church to meet the needs of persons beyond the congregation. The program begins by identifying and recognizing active volunteers. The various components of the program inform, recruit, educate, train and support persons as they become involved in service and ministry to persons in need. Through biblical and theological reflection, a greater awareness of their city, knowledge of agency needs, training and a support group, the project helps persons discover their place as a volunteer.
