  • This study proposes to explore the language, motivation, and evidences of conversion at Vineyard Church of Columbus. This research uses a focus group interview method to record individual conversion narratives. The literature review focuses on the mission of the church, evangelism, conversion, the Holy Spirit's role in conversion, and evidences of conversion. The findings are threefold. First, conversion narratives at Vineyard Church of Columbus do not reflect traditional evangelical conversion categories. Second, the narratives did reflect a personal encounter with Jesus Christ. Third, that the restoration of Christlike personhood, community and cause are strategic evidences of genuine conversion to Jesus Christ.
