- Abstract
- Pastoral ministry's ability to facilitate an integrative praxis related to daily experience, within those occurrences identified by Schillebeeckx as anthropological constants, is the focus of this study. The research explored the perceptions of catechumens and candidates, in order that pastoral ministers might facilitate the credibility of the Church's image in actualizing the liberation of humanity. For the catechumens and the candidates, critical areas of concern are identified as family, education, and spirituality. An integrative approach to mission and ministry, while referencing Dulles' work, offers an image of the Church in which a glimpse of the whole-making can begin to occur.
