Abstract
  • The writer is one of a group seeding a mission church in Enid, Oklahoma. Most have served in places of leadership in Southern Baptist Churches, but appear to have limited theological rationale for the purpose and organization of the mission. The writer believed that if properly informed the group would arrive at a consensus of purpose and ministry which would reconcile diversity of theology into that of purpose. Four seminar sessions were presented to better establish theology as a foundation for building a new church. Statistical analysis of instruments indicated that dilemmas caused by diversity of theology with need for unity have been lessened.
