Abstract

The purpose of this project was to equip bivocational pastors in selected pastoral ethics through the continuing education program at Wallace State Community College. In keeping with the equipping model, the project began with the project director's research in the field of philosophical ethics and pastoral ethics. The project director also researched the age, pastoral experience, and education level of the bivocational pastors in four Baptist associations within a fifty-mile radius of Wallace State Community College. Upon completion of the research, the project director developed curriculum based upon the findings from the research. Finally, the project director designed a five-session workshop to equip bivocational pastors in selected pastoral ethics through the continuing education program at Wallace State Community College.
