  • The purpose of the project was to equip the lay leaders at the Vietnamese Baptist Church of New Orleans to perform ministry skills more effectively according to the church's five purposes. The equipping program was implemented during a six-week period. The training sessions emphasized a shared ministry and equipped the participants to serve in their appointed ministry according to their SHAPE (spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, personality, and experiences).
