Abstrakt

The thesis of this project is that a church can benefit from a long-range plan based upon a shared vision. The church benefits both from the plan and the process of developing the plan together. Research shows that people are more likely to support a plan that they have helped develop. This is especially true if the goals of the plan are in harmony with a person's own personal goals. The project focuses on leading a group of leaders through a planning process that is based upon a combination of models from the business and religious sectors.
