Abstract
  • This project presents a study of a ministry of worship and reconciliation through blended worship in Joy Korean-American Church in Queens, New York. Many Korean-American churches suffer due to the divisions caused by the generation gap and cultural barriers between the Korean and English-speaking congregations. The Joy Korean-American Church created a model of 'blended worship' in order to overcome the disharmony and distrust, and to reconcile the differences of the two congregations. The findings of various socio-cultural issues of Korean-American churches, data collected by survey questionnaire, and resources used in the seminars and retreats were applied to the formation of this model of blended worship.
