Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to measure the impact of training and experience in formational prayer upon the spiritual vitality of the pastor's cabinet at the Free Methodist Church in Dansville, New York. Participants took a quantitative pre-test assessing their level of spiritual strength before receiving training and experience in eight sessions. Following the training, they took the quantitative post-test, which included qualitative questions. The project was successful. Participants developed better understanding about the relationship between spiritual vitality, deep wounds, and formational prayer. They also felt closer to Jesus as Lord and were more aware of the Holy Spirit.
