Abstract
  • This project trained Christians to use popular media as an apologetic bridge, ideally based upon Christian integrity and genuine relationships with postmoderns. Over thirteen weeks a focus team was introduced to postmodern practice and thought and Christian apologetics. They learned to reword fundamental Christian doctrines in common language and view representative media Christianly, so that points of contact could be identified between the media and Christian beliefs. A pretest and post-test gauged the focus team's growth in their understanding of postmodernism and apologetics. The team members also used what they learned in pre-evangelistic apologetic encounters with postmoderns.
