Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to design a volunteer leadership development strategy for full-time pastors of single-staff churches in the Arkansas Baptist State Convention. The project director implemented four elements in the development of this strategy: (1) identification of volunteer leadership needs specific to single-staff churches with full-time pastors in the Arkansas Baptist State Convention, (2) extensive research in the field of ministry leadership development, (3) development of the actual strategy and (4) presentation of the final strategy to the Church Health Team Leadership for approval. Actual implementation of the strategy was not within the scope of this project.
