Abstract
  • The discernment of vocation is a manifestation of missio Dei preveniently at work in the lives of students who, through study, service, prayer and reflection, come to know God's calling as the harmonizing of their lives within the ultimate claim of missio Dei. Therefore, the focus of this project will be: first, to consider theoretical aspects of missio Dei that apply to the campus context; secondly, to do a contextual description of the mission field of higher education; and last, to explore practical dimensions of discernment that I have found critical to this perennial task of forming, equipping and transforming young adults into faithful stewards of God's gifts and graces seeking expression in their lives and work.
