- Abstract
- This project addresses the question: Can documentary films of faith stories be used to address the need for spiritual community in the Potomac Conference of Seventh-day Adventists having experienced a dramatic increase in ethnic diversity among its congregations? With a doctrinal mandate for Unity in diversity, a connectional system of governance that is best served by a sense of spiritual community, and a technological culture that relies heavily on television as a source of information and social relationships, the Church needs a ministry tool such as The Potomac Story that can address the unique challenges and opportunities of the day.
