Abstract
  • The author purposed to encourage the congregations of Culsalmond and Rayne linked with Daviot to review their understanding and experience of Jesus Christ and to be challenged to explore the implications of an appropriate christology for their personal lives and the lives of the two congregations. The author with others worked out these goals through the creation, launch and review of the congregations' mission statement, a series of united services focused on Mark's Gospel and the establishment of a lay pastoral visiting team. While these purposes were implemented with some positive result their full effect cannot be measured.
