  • This project dealt with the issue of recruiting and developing adult Sunday school teachers to teach for life change and to teach through the filter of the Great Commission. The author examined biblical texts that dealt with the issue or recruiting and developing teachers. In addition, the author researched foundational material that highlighted sound teacher training strategies. New and current teachers were utilized to sit through the training material and then teach a series of lessons using the training they had recieved. Learning style surveys and post-lesson interviews were used to discover the effectiveness of the training model. The results were clear in that they showed that quality training produces quality teachers.
