Abstract
  • The formal discipling and spiritual formation of undergraduate students in Christian colleges is a critical issue for the future of the church. This project describes the organization and execution of a discipling ministry as one part of an overall campus ministry effort in a Christian college. The purpose of the campus discipling ministry was to strengthen and nurture the spiritual formation of students. Eighty students who had participated in the formal discipling ministry completed Likert assessment tools. The data was compiled and analyzed, discovering the strengths and weaknesses of the student discipling experience. Specific recommendations are made to improve the quality and effectiveness of the campus discipling ministry.
