Abstract
  • The purpose of this thesis project is to lay a theological, cultural , and historical framework for multiplying churches among German immigrant communities in urban South Brazil. The heart of the project blends a number of research tools, including demographic research of the city of Campo Bom coupled with survey research and statistical analysis by means of questionnaires, interviews and participant observation with the goal of planting a church in the targeted community. The thesis concludes with an assessment of the Campo Bom church plant in light of the goal of beginning a multiplying church movement in South Brazilian communities of German descent.
